Heather M. Cairns, Esquire

Heather M. Cairns is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in South Carolina for over twenty years. She has practiced law in her adopted home of Columbia, since 2005, when she first entered private practice. Her focus areas include estate planning, probate, and residential real estate.

Heather M. Cairns is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Richland County Bar Association.

Heather served the Richland County Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals for over 15 years, before ‘retiring’ in 2022. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Chapter of the ACLU. Heather is an active member of St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Columbia and a former Senior Warden. She lives in the Forest Acres area of Richland County with her wife, three dogs and cat. In her free time, you are likely to find her on the golf course, at the beach or deep into a home remodeling project.
